    US buyers beware

Do you have any timeframe (how long have you been waiting)? Was it shipped using economy/ground? I've never had any problems like you described, but maybe that's because when it comes to international, I stick to EMS.

this may sound stupid but how does the dac/amp work

I've never had any USB related problem like the one you described. I can even use my Pico on a single-core XP with no problems. It might help if you post some information on your laptop (make, CPU, year etc).

    Yuin out of business?

In case they are, it's time to pick up those PK3s from another retailer, like our sponsors HeadRoom and Head-Direct.

    Hearing Loss

No, because the first thing everybody serious in this hobby should understand is hearing damage. Every single audio equipment from a large company has an informative slip in the package warns you something about "don't listen too loud". All of the custom/high end audio shops I've been to...

Personal Articles Policy - Essential Accessory?

That is excellent information that most people don't know -- that's why they end up buying $100+/year accidental damage insurance for their Dell/Lenovo/etc laptops when there are much cheaper alternatives like the one you mentioned.

Who eats ice cream by the pint (500ml)?

I do, but I mix it with less than an equal portion of honey crisp cereal for a nice creamy crunch.

    Cereal first? Or milk first?!

I only eat cereal like how other people eat chips. I rarely use milk When I'm feeling for a "desert", I pour a modest amount of 10% and honey into my cereal before the malk.
