Audio-GD Master 9
I have tried UM Mest mk2's with my M9 and it has a lower noise floor than a Violectric V280.- arielext

Beyerdynamic DT770 Pro X Anniversary model
I'll measure them as well on my minidsp HEARS, just for reference and compare them to the DT 770 pro 80ohm, DT 700 pro X and perhaps some open beyers like the DT 1990. Now I just need to find the time and space :)- arielext

Beyerdynamic DT 1990 PRO - Beyer's open-back mastering headphone
I sniped a 2nd handed dt1990 in great condition. Only swapped to the amiron wireless dust protector and using the balanced pads. Excellent value for what you pay nowadays. The build quality is outstanding, same for comfort and overall sound quality. You can turn it into a treble monster in order...- arielext

Beyerdynamic DT770 Pro X Anniversary model
DT 700/900 are a pain when I stared but now I don't feel them at all. I hang them on a narrow headphone hanger which eventually created a dent such as is present on the dt 770 pro x as well. Works wonders for me cause now I can enjoy the DT 700 and 900 for what they are: great value for money...- arielext

Beyerdynamic DT770 Pro X Anniversary model
It shows that the stellar.45 driver is a step up from the older DT driver. The small upgrades (detacheable cable, less clamp than the pro headset and the indented headpiece) make it a step from the older DT 770. If I have the time in the next weeks I'll check against the DT770/80 and DT700 Pro X...- arielext

Beyerdynamic DT770 Pro X Anniversary model
Got mine in as well and can only echo @plakat I'm letting it play for a while but the highs are a bit too sharp for me. Planning on testing the amiron wireless/tygr fleece to dampen the highs if they remain as they are. From the 10 minutes I have thus far I prefer the DT 700 pro x so far. too...- arielext

Audio-GD Master 9
From my memory I noticed a step up in quality in bass. M9 sounds fuller/bigger, but again the differences are small. Too small to warrant the original price difference. A 2nd handed M9 would have my preferences over a 1st handed M19, which I eventually did, both are great (organic) amps.- arielext

The Closed-Back Headphone Thread (Plus Comparisons & Reviews)
I got a DT770 with their v3 dampening mod. It makes the DT770 less V shaped and more mature sounding imo. Detachable cable is always a pro but not extremely hard to DIY if you have the proper tools. Beyerdynamic will come with an updated DT770 this month in the form of the DT770 Pro X which has...- arielext
