USB Audio Player PRO (UAPP): 24- and 32-bit playback, ubiquitous USB audio support for Android

Actually, that's what I've been doing and more recently the volume control on the Morphit addon. It's just that I'd prefer it in the RG settings (I don't keep the EQ or Morphit always on).

Can XLR->RCA adapter easily be opened to cut 3rd pin connection?

Talking about this one by Neutrik https://www.neutrik.com/en/product/na2fpmf. The 3rd pin is wired to ground, but I need to leave it floating. Does anyone have any experience? With regular XLR plugs it's a piece of cake of course but I've never used these adapters and will have to order blind.

Any chance of adding negative values to ReplayGain compensation setting? It's a must for classical music. In Foobar2000 for example, I have to use -6dB RP amp gain and even then a few files risk clipping.

    RME ADI-2 DAC Thread

Is the serial number printed on the box too or just the unit itself? I am going to phone a reseller and ask which chip version they have in stock. Thanks!

USB Audio Player PRO (UAPP): 24- and 32-bit playback, ubiquitous USB audio support for Android

When playing back via Bluetooth, what is the optimal level of UAPP's software volume in relation to Android's own Bluetooth volume? I mean, there are two overlapping/complementary volume controls I've noticed that if UAPP's software volume is set any louder than about half way , I get horrible...

USB Audio Player PRO (UAPP): 24- and 32-bit playback, ubiquitous USB audio support for Android

EDIT: After toggling "Local Media Server" on and then back off in BubbleUPnP, the UAPP renderer is once again accessible. That's odd. (I only ever stream from MinimServer on my NAS and so I've never had the Local Media Server enabled. I just randomly tapped it for testing purposes and it solved...

USB Audio Player PRO (UAPP): 24- and 32-bit playback, ubiquitous USB audio support for Android

Feature request: Please add a tick box option in the "User interface" settings for displaying COMPOSER meta data in place of ARTIST. The problem with classical music is, there's no way to see the Composer in UAPP's Now Playing and Playlist views. (Browsing does work using MinimServer, i.e...

USB Audio Player PRO (UAPP): 24- and 32-bit playback, ubiquitous USB audio support for Android

Any hints how to setup UAPP + QNAP NAS + Asus router using WebDAV? 1. I have setup Webdav & DDNS on QNAP 2. Enabed UPnP on the Asus router 3. Tried setting port forwards on the router (I guess this shouldn't be needed with UPnP) Depending on how I set the parameters, I either get "Failed to...

USB Audio Player PRO (UAPP): 24- and 32-bit playback, ubiquitous USB audio support for Android

Comments & requests: 1. "Queue album" functionality: Only 1st album can be queued. When trying to add 2nd album to queue (i.e. to follow 1st album), 1st album gets replaced/removed completely. Very awkward to queue 2nd album by tapping each individual track separately. 2. Please consider...

USB Audio Player PRO (UAPP): 24- and 32-bit playback, ubiquitous USB audio support for Android

In BubbleUPnP, you need to enable "Hardware volume keys control external renderer volume" under "Control".

USB Audio Player PRO (UAPP): 24- and 32-bit playback, ubiquitous USB audio support for Android

I'm pretty sure you can achieve that with BubbleUPnP. You can use UAPP as renderer within the BubbleUPnP player. So I think you would just need to set up UPnP (tethering?) to communicate between the two devices. Personally, I use UAPP as renderer within the BubbleUPnP player but not across two...

USB Audio Player PRO (UAPP): 24- and 32-bit playback, ubiquitous USB audio support for Android

I'm not 100% sure I understand what you mean by "the duration field in the meta data is not filled in correctly", but be that as it may, Android BubbleUPnP shows the duration metadata correctly when browsing and, although the transcoded files are not seekable, the ongoing progress and the total...

USB Audio Player PRO (UAPP): 24- and 32-bit playback, ubiquitous USB audio support for Android

A new BubbleUPnP Server version was released on Dec. 22nd, which added the option to transcode files >96kHz. For some reason, I had to re-install the update manually to get the new transcoding options visible, even though the version number was updated correctly after the automatic update. Not...

USB Audio Player PRO (UAPP): 24- and 32-bit playback, ubiquitous USB audio support for Android

Yeah, it's 5.0.3 I exchanged some e-mails with bubbleguuum when doing testing. According to him, the FLACs transcoded by BubbleUPnP are "not seekable and it is probable that UAPP decoders rely on that to compute a duration and produce this bogus value" (meaning the negative Duration metadata...
