Im not sure if its an upgrade but my e3c broke (the left has no sound) so I picked up a super.fi 4 (I was looking at the 4vi but its not on sale, its 150-160 I think) for $80(was on sale so picked a pair) at futureshop. I figured I need something mobile and I want a custom iem but can't afford...

I got the k518 and I think its the same. For me its not the clamping pressure its the length of the band. The band is hurtin' my noggin lol. For the pressure what I did is clamp it on top of the computer and the pressure is not that much. Can the band be replace with something longer? I guess...

Well I picked up a K518dj, I might like the bassy characteristic of this and I like the size and they don't have the k414 on stock LOL. Thanks for the suggestions.

Yes its much more expensive 129 for the 518 and 69 for the 414. My price point is flexible, I wouldnt mind spending if its really good. But since its a portable I prefer a little bit more affordable, for home use I might pick up the esw9 or something but being portable, there's a higher chance...
