The Official Grado 325e Owners Club!
Thanks so much for the reply. I've found that on the SR60s I prefer the TTVJ pads and the L-cush backwards. The reversed bowls seem to give similar sound but a bit more soundstage and the flat pads are more in-your-face aggressive, I change them out depending on the type of music I'm listening...- AbeFroman

The Official Grado 325e Owners Club!
I'm thinking about picking up a pair of SR325e's or some HD700's and here's my current situation. In the past I was able to borrow some RS1's (pre i) for about a month and they were fantastic but too much $. Later I picked up a pair of RS2i's and they bored me to tears so I got rid of them. I...- AbeFroman

VSonic GR07 Bass Edition Impressions
I'm looking forward to this change. I have about 15-20 hours on mine at this point and I haven't really noticed a difference yet. Compared to my LCD2's, the midrange is more recessed and the treble has quite a bit more grain and general unfriendliness. Of course the GR01 has taken most of my...- AbeFroman

VSonic GR07 Bass Edition Impressions
As a quick update to my earlier post, I received the GR07 BE's a few days ago and they are quite an improvement over the X10's in pretty much every way. More detail, resolution, and general treble response. Bass is similar but a bit faster and cleaner. I'm giving these a chance to break in a...- AbeFroman

VSONIC GR01 Info, Impressions & Appreciation thread
Picked a pair of these up a couple days ago and WOW am I impressed. So much more clarity than what my Klipsch X10's have. The low end has taken a bit of getting used to, but so far it has been well worth it.- AbeFroman

What headphones are you currently rocking?
Rolling with the Klipsch X10's recently, mixing that up with Grado PS500's. New stuff on the way this week though!- AbeFroman

VSonic GR07 Bass Edition Impressions
I will be receiving a pair of GR07 BE's and a pair of GR01's here in the next few days. I'll be coming from a pair of Klipsch X10's and full size headphones like the LCD2r2's and Grado PS500's. How will these new IEM's compare to what I've been listening to? The X10's have really grown...- AbeFroman

Full sized headphones that don't break
Beyerdynamic DT880s seemed nearly indestructible when I owned them. They sounded pretty good as well.- AbeFroman

Allergy Sufferers - Which one would you pick; Zyrtec or Allegra?
When I was young I had allergy shots 2 days a week to try and keep things under control, but 5mg of Zyrtec daily does the job nowadays. Allegra never did much for me, same with Claritin. I still have occasional "sinus attacks" that last a couple of weeks at a time (mostly in the spring and...- AbeFroman

Sennheiser HD650 & Massdrop HD6XX Impressions Thread
I've actually preferred the Magni/Modi over the O2/ODAC for my 650s. While the Modi and ODAC seem very comparable to my ears, the Magni just sounds a bit more dynamic than the O2. I've since picked up a Lyr and it's far better at driving the 650s than either the Magni or O2.- AbeFroman

Battle Of The Flagships (58 Headphones Compared)
Completely agree. I've had my LCD-2's for a few months and I've tried almost everything. It seems there's just too much weight to distribute, and the shape and angle of the pads makes the distribution very uncomfortable.- AbeFroman

Your favourite "not the best" headphones?
I have a pair of MP Sextetts. Out of the Magni they sound ok, but out of the Lyr they sound really wonderful. There is just something about these headphones when you get enough power behind them.- AbeFroman
