Looking for a <$200 pair of headphones?
Can you buy velour pads for the 80/120 ohm versions and use them on these?- 1337h34dph0n00b

Looking for a <$200 pair of headphones?
Wow. 2 more options in the last 10 minutes. THIS IS IMPOSSIBLE AND SUCH A FLOODED MARKET. From what I have gathered in the last 10 minutes, the DT 770 32Ohms is kind o like the ATH-m50 but better? Big, boomy, controlled bass with slightly recessed mids. Haven't gotten to look at creative ones...- 1337h34dph0n00b

UE6000 vs V-moda crossfade m-100.
Another option has come into play. The FA-003. If I did get this it would be along with the CMoy BB from JDS Labs, to boost the bass a bit, and overall improve SQ. The only downside to these would be portability. Thoughts on this option?- 1337h34dph0n00b

What would you guys think of this setup. FA-003 (or Brainwavz HM5), with a JDS Labs CMoy BB, for extra bass. Source would be an iPhone 5 and iPad with FLAC songs.- 1337h34dph0n00b

So the fa-003 probably have better mids, but the m100 will give that thumping bass. Still makes a very hard decision for me. Comfort is better on the FA-003. The M100 has better portability and features, and is built like a tank. UGHHH.- 1337h34dph0n00b

Looking for a <$200 pair of headphones?
I will be listening to mostly hip-hop, classic and modern rock, and maybe a very small amount of pop music. The loose fit and the batteries (I know they work without batteries, but I would most likely always use them) draw me away from the UE 6000s. Oh and I also listen to the occasional youtube...- 1337h34dph0n00b

UE6000 vs V-moda crossfade m-100.
Thanks for linking me to that thread! After reading that I am somewhat leaning towards the UE6000s. I would like to hear some other opinions, though.- 1337h34dph0n00b

UE6000 vs V-moda crossfade m-100.
I knew it boosted bass, but I wasn't sure if it made it louder.- 1337h34dph0n00b

Just as I was decided, I found another pair that could be a possibility. Ugh. What do you guys think of the FA-003? They have glowing reviews, as with the UE6000.- 1337h34dph0n00b

Looking for a <$200 pair of headphones?
Right now it's between the UE6000 and the K550s. I can save about $100 if I get the UE. Would it be worth I to get a decent amp and the UE6000 over the K550s?- 1337h34dph0n00b
