Update: since I now go to office every day, I don't have time to use it as it deserves. Opening this for sale again. I also have a Norne Audio Draug SC3 with it (bought it from https://www.head-fi.org/classifieds/norne-audio-draug-sc3.5844/ pic upon request) for sale of $300.
Selling my Mint condition Verite Open Silkwood 2 months old (delivered to me Feb 21st 2021), prob just broken in.
It comes with default Universe + Verite lambskin pad. Magnesium chasis with all black accessaries to minimize weight (no chip at all, mint), it feels weightless on my head. Seahorse 430 case so you don't need to worry about shipping. I also specifically asked Zach to dark stained it, and the result is quite stunning! Picture won't really do this justice.
Sound wise, if you are looking at this post, you probably already know how excellent it sounds.
Reason for selling: I was lucky to snap a Verite Stabilized Closed in the recent round, and 1. my wife complains the leaked sound daily; 2. I just could not justify having two really expensive headphones at the same time so I am willing to let it go.
Current wait time is going to be 8-12 months, so you would avoid it. Though for me it means I will need to wait for those time again.
$2200 covers shipping but not Paypal fees. No trade.
