Take the existing speaker wires and put rca connectors on the ends?

Hey, I didn't think of that! I don't know enough about wires, is there an impedance or other considerations in just using my Ohno speaker wire as interconnects?

I don't know the answer to that one--maybe post the question in the threads first regarding that wire. The connectors can either be screw on or soldered. But that's the cheap and cheerful solution since you have the length already.

Actually, I don't have the length, now that I'm thinking about it. I'm planning the run the interconnects over a doorway, to get the cable off the floor. As it is now, my speaker cables are crossing the door threshold, I'm bi-amping, so that's four runs and are kind of hazardous. Good idea, though.
