Hey All!

I’m just getting rid of some items that have been sitting for too long. They need a good home where someone will listen to them. Specifically… the MHDT Havana DAC (more on this one in a bit).

Ok, so here’s what I got for sale right now… might have some others later, but not right now.

Geshelli Labs Erish2 and J2 (with USB) stack in custom Walnut case with smoked acyrlic

Ya, these are absolutely gorgeous and I’m really very torn on selling this set, but I simply do not have the room on my desk for these separate pieces and just prefer the ADI-2 FS for being a single unit. I don’t think I need to say a lot about this stack, as there are plenty of reviews/videos about these, but I will say they were a pleasure to use and view. I love walnut, so I might be biased, but these are gorgeous. I am the first and only owner.

Schiit Magnius

It’s an amp. It has balanced inputs. It’s clean. It has plenty of power. It’s cheap. I am the only owner.

MHDT Havana DAC

Here is a thread on Head-Fi talking about this DAC. What I will say is that if you’re at all interested in the NOS DAC world… there’s not much better of a place to start than with the Havana. Basically, any of the MHDT DACs, but this one started the acrylic and metal housing.

The Havana also sports 2 of the Burr Brown PCM56P setup in a dual mono design. This DAC also features a tube output compatible with any of the following tubes: GE5670, 2C51, 396A, 6385, 6CC42, 6854, 6N3, 6854, CV2575, CV4013, CV5894, CV8247, CV2381.

This is an absolutely giant sounding DAC, and has been a mainstay in my 2 channel system for over 2 years now. Why am I moving on from it? Well, I now have the balanced orchid. it’s in good condition, a couple scratches on the metal case, but functions flawlessly. I think I’m the second owner of this DAC.

Hifiman Edition XS

I really wanted to like this headphone, and I would have if it would have fit my head. This is also the same issue with the Ananda BT. I guess I just have a small head and need even more adjustment that the don’t offer. I’m sure I could have rigged up some sort of system, but I just don’t want to destroy the looks of the headphone and get it over to someone that has a larger head than mine and will enjoy it. I am the only owner of this headphone and purchased them directly from Hifiman when they were launched.

Hifiman Sundara Closed Back

Ok, so no… this is not a Sundara voiced headphone. What it is is a visceral kick in the balls. These remind me a lot of the Campfire Cascade without the veil. You want the Wub Wub? Sundara Closed has got your Wub Wub. Any way… spent about 20 hours with them and I’m just not a fan of closed back headphones. These were like the perfect companion headphones to the Elegia. I am the only owner.

Hifiman Deva Pro Wireless

If you plan on using these without the R2R BT Dongle…don’t. The DSP in the dongle makes these sound pleasant. Without it…lord no. Just not great at all. It does give you that neat BT open back planar experience, and I have to say that they are quite excellent for watching movies from your phone/tablet. I enjoyed taking those on business trips until I got the Ananda BT. I am the only owner.

Hifiman Ananda BT

This was a recent acquisition from another Head-Fi member and I love them. I loved them so much that I tried everything I could think of to make them fit my head. Unfortunately… there was no solution that either would make them look like a craft project, or changing the headband. Alas, I’d prefer to keep there in tact and move them on to someone else. I believe I am the second owner of these…maybe third.

Focal Elegia

I love the detail from these headphones. They punch well above their mark on a lot of areas, but bass just isn’t one of them. I didn’t care, because EQ is a thing, and the Elegia responded so well to a nice bass shelf that cured what was missing. I am the only owner.

Audeze LCD-2C

I got these from Audeze about a month ago, and while I really like them, I prefer the LCD-X. These probably don’t need me to rattle on about how good they sound… warm, lush and wide. It’s the pre-fazor LCD-2, and that is/was an amazing headphone. I am the only owner.

I think that’s about all for now. The wife and I are headed to the orchestra this evening, so I might not be able to respond for a bit, but I’ll answer any questions you have! If anyone needs additional pictures please let me know. I’m happy to assist!

All the best!

Joe
