I used this tube for about 100 hours while I had a WA22. Sounds amazing, I just have no use for it anymore.
Here is the description from when I originally purchased it.
“1967 Vintage Full-Wave Rectifier
Hickok TV-7D/U tests read 56/56. A reading of 40/40 is the minimum recommended. This rare NOS Western Electric tube is from 1967 USA production. It features ruggedized plate construction, twin rectangular frame getters near the base and a third mica layer for enhanced quieting. There are a few small paint flecks inside the tube. The 422A is a full-wave rectifier with an ST-16 bulb and octal basing. The filament is 5.0 volts, 3 amps. The 422A is rated at 1800 volts PIV, 400 mA”
