The amp sounds very good with some high quality NOS tubes such as the Mullard ECC31 as seen in the pics. I feel the amp is sensitive in terms of ground noise to tubes so if you have some noisy tubes, you might be able to hear it but for high quality ones, you shouldn't be able to hear any.
