Please read: I have owned the base system for a half a year. The stock OM5E catridge has about 100-150ish hours on it. However, I have have recently upgraded it to the SIGNIFICANTLY better Sumiko Ranier cartridge and that has less than 30 hours on it.
I really really like this setup. After installing the cue Lever, the weight and calibrating the tone arm/Sumiko Cart the record player improved vastly over stock. Like, I was blown away how much of a difference Calibration alone made. This inspired me to invest into an even better set up.
Please note that the included cork Mat is not needed, however some people prefer the sound of a cork Mat and there is a slight difference. The turntable is calibrated to no use the cork Mat and the weight included is not compatible with the cork Mat since it's too tall and touches the lid. If you want to use it then you will need a shorter weight and need to recalibrate.
As you can see by the retail prices above, this kit came to about $700. I am asking for $440 local. I can ship it as well for $475 (UPS + insured) to Upper US 48 states.
Please note that if I ship it, it will come slightly disassembled. I will secure the tone arm like it originally was when I received it so you shouldn't need to recalibrate, but it I'll include the official Uturn Calibration kit as well.
