I'm planning to do some synergy experiments, I'm willing to downgrade from my fantastic Violectric V550 to either a V281 or a V222. (I have owned the V222 in the past and vowed to repurchase one in the future, I have also never tried the V281).

The headphones I'm having come my way are gonna be brighter headphones and I'm testing to see if the V2xx series will synergize with them or not.

I love the V550, it opens up the treble space compared to the V2xx series and balanced out very nicely, plenty of power, excells at separation and clarity with a very black background.
The ZMF Atrium and Caldera synergize AMAZINGLY with the V550, other headphones that love the extra separation and power, HD650, HD600 and Focal Utopia.

The V550 adds just a hint of warmth but does not really color the sound too much compared to a lot of other amps.

This V550 is the non Pro Version and doesn't not have the reed relay static sound when using the volume pot.
This V550 was purchased from Germany and I changed the internal switch to 115V the day I received it.
Excellent like new condition, no scratches or damages.
