For sale is a modded Stax SRM-T1 electrostatic amplifier + Stax ED-1 diffuse field equalizer.
The SRM-T1 has been recapped and also has the popular CCS mod installed. This mod makes it suitable to drive estats like the 007. It's in great condition, with a few minor scuffs to the black paint on the chassis. It is the two-transformer version and has two pro-bias outputs and one normal bias output.
The ED-1 is an interesting piece of gear. It seems to be decently rare. It's a Diffuse Field Equalizer, and from what I gather, it removes the 'in the head' sensation of listening to headphones by improving the spatial imaging. It's specifically meant for lambda headphones. It plugs into the chain via RCA cables between your source and the SRM-T1.
Both the SRM-T1 and ED-1 come with power cords and their original boxes. Both are set up for 117V for use in North America.
Shipping and paypal fees included in price. Shipping to CONUS only.
