Stax sr-007 mk1 in incredible, NOS, condition. Purchased from a collector in March for demo purposes.
History of the unit:
This is a chance to own an iconic Stax headphone rescued from a time warp. The original headfi owner lives in Japan and purchased this pair with help from his friend who, as a hobby, goes around Japan to old stereo shops and searches out vintage NOS items. He came upon these 007’s as new and unsold in November 2020. As the original owner works in Hong Kong and is only home in Japan on weekends these NOS headphones saw limited use. Another headfier purchased them but kept them as a part of their collection for a few months and sold them to me just two months ago. I have only used the unit a few times as I own several 007. This unit sounds excellent as an mk1 should
