Stax SR-Lambda (Normal Bias) electrostatic headphones with SRD-6 Adaptor.

These cosmetically look good for their age.

Most listening they sound fine, but there is occasional static in the left channel, especially if you move the cable around. I'm not exactly sure what is causing this. It could be something as simple as hair or dust in the driver or it could be something like the cable malfunctioning or the SRD-6 Adaptor not working properly. There is no way for me to confirm with another adaptor since this is the only device I have.

I bought these second hand on here years ago (2008 maybe?) and they worked perfectly fine without any issues for years. At the time, I sold off all my other headphones once I acquired these because they were so good. Then I lost interest in headphones and they sat unused in a box for several years. I did not abuse them, but I did not keep them in a sealed bag while they were sitting unused, which in retrospect would have been a good idea.

This would be great for someone who has some expertise in troubleshooting Stax or if you were inclined to send them to someone who does like spritzer/Mjolnir Audio.
