Someone should snatch this right now.

In my opinion, the STAX headphone to have, and i don't care if your budget is infinite; say a 9000 is no issue to you.
In retrospect, it ends with this one for me. Owned the original Ωmega, owned the 9000.
- The most neutral, balanced STAX flagship, (typical old STAX signature vs new dry-ish but overly accurate one), albeit with a sliiightly, slightly laid back representation for you, just a hint of extra distance from the stage, just a sprinkle of additional space resolution, enough to enjoy it no matter what you drive it with (and at this level, we're talking T2, Megatron or an SRX Plus). And that's something we cannot say for the 9000, the 009s at all, or for the original 009 either. While a second best, the 009 requires more care in our system synthesis, escecially with digital sources.
- Scales and scales and scales.
- Unlike the 009, it shouldn't suffer from certain technical issues that were only fully resolved later, 009s and onwards.
- For all the people with an ear and patience, that have escaped the stax mafia brainwashing -and equipment sold to boot, for profit- and actually aspire to a true, ends there electrostatic signature sound.

Don't know why he's selling it, but.. get it while you can
