putting up this thing for sale as i really have found myself never really using it and the novelty of ownership has worn off lol

it is really one of the nicer ones out there complete with box and manual and packaging has the original pads and headband (all serial numbers match 493)

has the original Omega drivers (maybe an unofficial second revision given the serial number but they are not 007/Omega II drivers)

for provenance i believe i am the fourth owner: original Japanese owner to second owner to headfier to me

originally i used it only for comparisons (i prefer 009S) and then on occasion when i got different STAX amps so liberally in the single digit hours of use by me

since selling my 009S a couple months ago i have used it a bit more so maybe 10 hours more but of course i am not the first owner (it doesnt seem very used in general though)

for the flaws:
• there is some scuffing on both the earcup chassis (it does not always show in pictures but just for full transparency)
• the wool headstrap has wear (part of that is simply by design all the wool headstrap of this type have this worn look)
• the earpads are in great shape but arent new so obviously some creasing
• there seems to be some glue of the headband assembly on one of the cups (this may have been how the phone came from STAX because this is definitely one of the most janky ass headphones in terms of build quality i have ever owned lol)

please look at the pictures closely (i am happy to provide more pictures for those seriously inquiring)

this is priced lower than i paid for it in 2019
