Selling my Stax Lambda Pro Classic refurbished + Stax SRM-353x. The SRM-353x is in mint condition. The Lambda Classic Pro is in good condition. It is from 1992. I recently refurbished it at http://stritt-audio.de/ . The headband was renewed, new original Stax pads were attached, also the drivers were cleanend and protected by dust protection. It's very unlikely to find this headphone in this condition again.
These headphones are among the best I've experienced. My praise isn't based on a desire to sell them, but from extensive personal experience with Stax headphones. This particular model stood out to me because it can go deep as low as 20HZ, doesn't have any irritating 1KHZ peak, and it offers reasonable upper-mids, a common issue which most Stax have. They're very well-tuned. Even though they were manufactured in 1992, they exhibit less distortion than the Focal Utopia. The detail retrieval is on par with TOTL headphones.
The headphone is only sold in combination with the SRM-353x. It is limited to 300 units world wide. The price includes the amplifier.
Used in a non-smoking and pet-free environment.
