Hi everyone,
For sale is an Audiowise SRC-DX with Uptone Audio USPCB (extremely low loss USB link), and Blue Jeans Cable BNC to 3.5mm
I'm the original owner and used this setup to play upscaled 705/768khz content via SPDIF on my Chord Mojo 2. I used HQPlayer and PGGB to upscale local and streamed music to million+ tap filters to great effect. I believe it's a great way to get M-Scaler like performance for a fraction of the price.
The BNC to 3.5mm cable is one I worked with Blue Jeans Cable to have custom made, and is similar to this one from Moon Audio: Moon Audio - Mini Coax Digital Cable
Another reason this solution is significant is the Amarra USB input chip on some Chord DACs is unstable at 705/768khz rates, and would occasionally push loud static out of nowhere when running at those rates. This happened on my Mojo 1 as well, and appears to be well-documented on Head-Fi and other forums. Bypassing the USB chipset by going to SPDIF using this setup completely fixed the problem in my experience.
If you're interested, I also have other equipment for sale on my profile (including an iFi iPower X, iFi AC purifier, Intona 7055-C USB 3.0 Isolator) Meze Elite, and more). Would be happy to make a deal!
Thank you
