Unit has some scratches on top because I had other gear stacked on it. Other than that great condition and work flawlessly. SPL replaced couple of op-amps so amp has been inspected by professionals just few weeks ago. Phonitor 2 is still in production (Price ~1800€) so servicing it if needed is not a problem.

The most transparent headphone amplifier I have heard and quite a bargain. Technically it is basically same as X and XE but without the extra cost for a balanced output. Phonitor 2 can also be used balanced from rear ports with 2x3pin XLR - 4pin XLR adapter. Phonitor 2 also has more complete crossfeed options than X and XE and has a phase switch not available in other Phonitors.

Phonitor 2 is also a great pre-amplifier. Channel balance and other options can be used as a preamp or you can run it completely bypassing everything.

Unit does not have a remote as standardi but it has a "learn function" to make it compatible with any remote.

Two XLR inputs (+ one RCA) make this a great device for comparing dacs or just a very competent centerpiece of a more complex hifi rig.

3.7W @120ohm makes sure you can drive pretty much any headphone.
