Fully agree. What is great with Z1R, that it doesn't have weak points.. From low to highs, everything is there. Resolving, but smooth and natural. Selling only because I prefer the older brother by EsLab (ES-R10), which is more about midrange and even bigger soundstage. But Z1R is quite close (more neutral/transparent) with better low-end and amazing subbass. So perfect for modern genres as you said.

I would really love to hear an R10 one day or the EsLabs version (I hear they sound reasonably close to one another). Sounds like another great headphone.
