Hi all, continuing to cull my collection, up for sale is a set of Stax 4070 in nice overall condition, please refer to the photos for details. Since discontinued, the 4070 is the only closed stat Stax has produced thus far and was a made to order headphone intended for professional monitoring applications then made available generally. Tuning very much emphasizes intelligibility, is quite neutral the rest of the spectrum. IIRC measured bass may be inaccurate since he had trouble with seal, sound to me is even and flat left and right.
