Hi all, up for sale is a pair of carbon fiber box Stax SR-007 MK1. This particular copy was a demo set from very early on, no serial number. Overall condition is good, a few things of note. The pads are fairly worn but the headpad elastic is still quite unstretched and all leather is in pretty good shape. There's a bit of a mark above the left cup strain relief from a tag the dealer had there, never did get an explanation for the patch of bleaching on the elastic. Perhaps Stax used a B-stock part since the pair was meant to be a demo/sample and not sold. All in all an oddball but sound is excellent, no functional issues, and one of the oldest production pairs you'll likely find. Included is the manual.
