Offering the excellent Phonitor X. A versatile and powerful reference solid state amp and pre-amp. This version contains the older DAC, which works well, but is very dated, and thus I am selling this at a price as though it has no DAC. Let’s face it. No one buys this amp for the built in DAC. Get a real DAC!

Multiple gain levels (can even drive Susvara), preamp and pass through outputs, balanced and SE output and input, a highly configurable crossfeed, and dedicated mono mode are outstanding features, but they are eclipsed by the gorgeous VU meters.

I am the second owner of this amp. The first owner rubbed off some of the labeling on the front panel, as often happened with that period of production. I did not make the problem any worse. Otherwise, the unit is in excellent condition, from smoke free home.

Amp will come in original box, with manual. If you need a crappy, generic IEC cable that came with the amp, I can include one.
