It converts USB input to I2S, AES and SPIDF digital output. I upgraded the A/C inlet to bypass the internal power supply in favor of the $395 Uptone Audio LPS (Linear Power Supply).

I used this setup to convert USB input to I2S output and into my Holo Spring DAC.

I was very happy with the noticeable difference in sound quality that this configuration made.
