For sale is an RFT ECC81 (12AT7) with the a foil getter. Early '60's (I believe the box is from a different tube). Bought from another Headfi-er a few months ago.
I only tried it once on my Pendant SE, but while the previous owner didn't hear any noise on it at all (he was using it on a different amp) with my amp, headphones, power outlet, location, or whatever, it does have a slight transformer hum.
Aside from that, it's got more power than my 12AU7's, and would probably sound quite nice with less sensitive headphones (like a few planars).
Price includes shipping to CONUS, PP fees are extra unless you pay F&F.
