This is the SECOND Vintage Grado RS1 with wood buttons I am selling for a friend Condition is good on this one but there are a couple fairly inconsequential dings thereby this one has a reduced selling price.
This the first Wood bodied Grado and also is John Grado’s first TOTL after his uncle Joe retired and John took over the business. In my opinion John hit the ground running and hasn’t slowed down since.
The mahogany wood has aged beautifully and has very nice graining. It is a great looking piece and is extremely comfortable. Comes with brand new flats as it the pad that were part of the whole design. I will also throw in a pair of L cushions to play with. This is only model with square rods other than the Joseph Grado Signature Hp1000 series.
A Very Nice COLLECTIBLE for sure especially if you are a Grado fan.
Very well balanced natural sound, very transparent in my opinion (as they have proven to many followers. I have a lot of Grados and I would consider these among my top few favorites (my own pair I bought way back when they were introduced and are definitely one of my real “keepers”.
Buyer contributes $15 towards shipping. Long time member (2005) with 95 all positive feedback, read a few they’re fun.
PayPal F&F preferred as not to end up with sales tax.
