I picked up this beautiful sounding R2R DAC from a fellow Head-Fi member not long ago. I really like it, I think it sounds a lot better than any regular delta/sigma DACs (Lifelike and smooth versus a lifeless digital sound.) I immediately sold my ADI-2 after hearing this.
The only reason I am selling this one is because I bought a Chord TT2.
New price after VAT and import taxes/duty fees to the UK would be around £1500-£1600. Even though I did not buy new, I still had to pay import taxes and a bad exchange rate on PayPal.
Price includes UK shipping.
The unit was originally bought at the end of last year and comes with a 3 year transferable warranty, so you are covered until the end of November 2024. I will enclose the original invoice.
There is a small misalignment on the back panel which according to the previous owner was there since day one. Shown in the last picture. It didn't bother me, but might be an issue for some.
Otherwise pristine cosmetic and perfect working order.
Please note, Soekris DACs come without power cable. You will have to provide your own power cable. (£5-10 on eBay)
