In excellent condition. Since I work for Sennheiser I got them for an interesting price but I just ordered the IE 900 so these won't be used much anymore. I just got them last week, two years of warranty still apply, original receipt straight from Sennheiser Germany is available when purchased.
Soundwise I won't have much to add here, I didn't use the standard eartips but with the Symbio W the sound is great. I also have Vision Ears VE5's and though these are better in the midrange I think the Sennheisers sound more natural and have even better imaging. Wonderful in-ear especially for vocal lovers.
Combined with a good source they sound wonderful and are suited for a wide variety of genres.
