This is the Bifrost 1 MB with Gen 5 USB. Works perfect, only selling after upgrading to the Gumby. Back left corner appears to be just slightly bent (b stock imperfection, will upload more close up pics to show this). It's not very noticeable otherwise and does not impact performance. Willing to negotiate price/ shipping slightly.

This is a great deal for an amazing dac, yes the bifrost 2 is out but you are paying double the price for that dac (and it’s subjective) but not twice better in sound performance. Sure if you really want balanced ins and outs that could be a reason but for 429 you get multibit sound and gen 5 is the last usb before unison came out and is still really good. Lexx510 has a good deal for anyone looking to experience the multibit sound and not break the bank.

Thank you and def. agreed. I recently upgraded to the Gungnir with Unison USB and these two are VERY hard to distinguish. I would probably need to perform a blind test to truly identify the appropriate distinctions.

That’s a heck of an upgrade! I only know the OG bifrost as I have one that’s upgraded to unison usb so very similar to the one you are selling and have the bifrost 2 now which is also excellent but it’s very subtle in differences But the price difference is huge! Excellent price still for getting your ears a taste of true multibit with this OG bifrost.
