Price: $2000
Ships to: USA
Shipping cost: I’d prefer to split the cost of shipping with the buyer, as the package will heavy due to the pelican case, and I will be shipping it insured.

It’s with mixed emotions that I’m listing my Rad-0. I love them and think they’re amazing headphones, but need to diversify my funds and the D8000 Pro have beaten them out at this stage. Candidly I’ll likely end up buying a new pair down the line, or whatever comes next out of Rosson Audio because I’m a huge fan. The headphones come with the Rad-0 pelican case and includes an XLR cable and a 1/4 inch cable. One note is that I have added Dekoni nuggets to the headband for improved comfort.

Nice Eye Candy.... really pretty.
I have a set of Rad-0's .....otherwise...:)

Its nice to see ZMF now creates their Verite Closed using a similar process to elicit similar beautiful colors..
The Rosson RAD-O got there first a few years ago.. and His headphones are just gorgeous both in aesthetics and regarding their lovely detailed sonics.
My take on the Rad-0 sound ?? Its the very best Audeze sound, perfected...... without needing any EQ'ing., as its' already THERE.....

Really pretty.

Rosson Audio headphones are the best Audeze sound you'll ever hear.
If the LCD-5 let you down, then try a Rosson Rad-0, as its basically the LCD-7.
Rosson Audio even burns in your headphones for you. They are burned in at the Shop after they build them by hand, so that once you take them out of their case, they are ready to go.
Plug in, play, enjoy.
They really know what they are doing at Rosson Audio.
Do you have a Utopia, and a Susvara, and a recent ZMF Verite, and are wondering 'what next"?

= Rosson Rad-0

Each of these is the perfect compliment to the other 3, as they sound nothing alike, and yet, all are fantastic.

Not the person you're responding to, but the listing poster - I really love mine, it's more that for the gear I have currently I'm enjoying my D8000 Pro more and I'm trying to downsize/consolidate.

The "knock" on them is around comfort 90% of the time. I've never had any issues whatsoever, they're not uncomfortable to me, they're just not the lightest or least noticeable. Having said that, they're phenomenal all-around headphones and they've been a treat to have.

What makes them a more mature Audeze sound? Are they most similar to the LCD-5, or is the other way around?

You will always find those that dislike a gear.
This is why the classified section here always has Susvara's, Meze Elite's, and the new Audeze LCD-5 for sale every day, along with ZMF Verite's and all the rest.

The Rosson Rad-O is a very good set of headphones.
Very fine sound.

Agree. There is always going to be variances in what people like and prefer.

Of course.
And something else, that happens over time......
When a person is a new listener....which would be someone who has less than 6 yrs of listening experience...
Once they get into 8, 10, 20 yrs, of buying, listening, and learning the difference between audiophile sound and pro-sumer or con-sumer sound, it can be that they go back to a gear they didn't think was great that first 5 yrs, but by the time they are into year 10, they have learned what "reference sound" is all about,.. and it could be that a reference sound like the Rad -0, does not flip the switch of a person who is all about Bass and V-shape, and too much treble.... the Con-sumer sound... So...it can be that after some time, this same seeker, learner, is going to come to a place where they understand what is "good" sound, vs what is exciting or consumer sound.
The Rad-0 is a referenced designed sound with just a touch of the Audeze styled impact and low end.
