Denafrips dacs are not NOS. I use Ares II in the 2ch speaker system. Everyone has their own requirements. To me, RME is boring. Sounding thin. Unnatural. Live music doesn’t sound like that.

Noted. In the first place RME are not design to be realistic and organic lifelike. Its dead flat and super accurate, perfect for movies, gaming and mixing & mastering as well as music.
