This is the original Resonessence Concero DAC, and comes with the box and an Apple Remote (more on that in a moment). I am the original owner. I updated the firmware to v2.2 to fix a known USB bug with recent Mac operating systems, and the DAC works perfectly on my Mac.
This is an amazing sounding DAC that is connected and powered by a single USB cable. It cleans up the power nicely with no need for a dedicated supply. I always used the USB connection but you can also use Coax S/PDIF if you've got that.
The killer feature of this DAC is the choice to have different filter modes. Using an Apple Remote, you can change the DAC from bit perfect mode (blue light) to either an apodizing filter or an improved impulse response (IIR) filter.
