For sale is another rarity from the gear purge.
This is a pair of first year release LCD-3, prior to the introduction of the Fazor units. These are known for their ultra smooth and detailed sound without the jaggedness in the treble that ensued from the introduction of the fazors.
This unit is in fair condition, given the age. There's no cracks in the wood, but may be minor marks and scratches. There's some marks on the yokes (see photos).
This unit has the original headband with serial number 26--- which is the only serial number which doesn't have fazors, per Audeze.

Includes original black wood box, 1/4" cable and 4 pin XLR cable.
Pads were replaced with the 2021 revision leather free pads, which match the thickness and tuning of the original pads.
