Here is a great opportunity to own not only a great headphone amp but a fantastic speaker amp as well. It is so versatile. You can use anything from EL34 (stock) to the brand new KT170.

The EL34 is typical smooth beautiful tubey sound. I am including the new KT170 Tung Sol matched set of tubes with maybe 400 hours on them tops. They sell for $785 for a set of 4. The KT170 ups the power outpul considerably. It sounds more dynamic and closer to a ss sound. You will have any mood and music type covered.

The best way to change the sound is to change the center 2 12au7. I actually decided to upgrade all 6. I bought the gold lion “Kevin’s Stash” at $85 a pop. So over $500 for these and they have less than 20 hours on them….they are practically brand new. I will be sending the stock Primaluna branded 12au7s as well.

I bought this amp strictly as a headphone amp and it is wonderful. It was the best amp for many of my headphones. It had a amazing senergy with the Utopia…best headphone experiance of my life. I purchased it early 2020 from Upscale Audio So there is about 6 months of warranty remaining (Not transferable so I would need to help with a warranty claim)

Why am I selling you may ask. I left the headphone hobby. I bought this gem for the headphone amp. Now I am strictly 2 channel and I would like to eliminate the preamp as my Rockna Wavelight has a more than capable preamp. I am looking to buy a power amp.
