Offered for sale: A Violectric V200 solid-state headphone amplifier. This is often considered an end-game headphone amplifier, and I am only selling it because I fell in love with tubes. This is the version WITHOUT a build-in DAC- headphone amplifier ONLY.

The V200 has both an RCA/single-ended input and an XLR/balanced input. It has two single-ended/1/4” outputs, allowing for two different headphones to be used at once. In addition, it has DIP switches on the back, easily allowing pre-gain adjustments for your favorite headphones.

The V200 has a completely silent background and strong dynamics, and a slightly more vivid and warm sound signature than completely neutral amplifiers. The build quality is top-notch, including a precise volume control and solid metal casing.

The face plate is in perfect condition, but there is some minor cosmetic damage to the top of the case, with one scratch in the Nextel coating and some small discolorations as shown in the photos. There are no dings to the top case, nor any damage to other surfaces.

Purchaser to pay shipping and PayPal fees. No original box or manual, but amp will be very thoroughly/securely packed, and the manual can be downloaded online.

The amp functions perfectly and sounds amazing, as noted in multiple reviews:

Headphonia:

“If you want to get the best out of your hard-to-drive headphones, the Violectric models should definitely be on your short list…”

Violectric V200 Review (headfonia.com)

HDPhonic:

“…on more than one occasion and with different musical genres, the V200, especially if connected with balanced line inputs, quietly held head-to-head with the far more famous Bryston BHA-1…”

The Headphoneer: Comparison between the Schiit Mjolnir and V200:

“The V200 on the other hand has a fuller bass, smoother highs and more liquid mids. It has plenty of detail, but not always putting them in your face as the Mjolnir. V200 also excels on creating a sense of soundstage depth…”

NOTE: This manufacturer’s information is for the Anniversary Edition- I believe the internal components are exactly the same as the standard V200, with cosmetic changes to the face plate.

Thanks for looking!
