This Fidelio X2HR is from the original production run before it was ended and restarted by popular demand.

It is modded with Brainwavz genuine leather memory foam over-ear earpads. The original velour earpads are dust magnets, get warm in the summer and get funky after a while. I swapped them for the Brainwavz. The original earpads were glued to to the unit so they had to be completely removed and disposed of. The Brainwavz are very comfortable and give the headphones a slightly darker sound, but not by much. As the new earpads are genuine leather I have cleaned them with saddle soap and treated them with mink oil.

The headphones are very clean except for some wear on the stretchy headband part that rests on your head. I've cleaned it as best I can. The headphones are technically without defects. The sound from each of the earcups is accurate to the manufacturer's specs with no flaws or imbalances.

I have the original box and all the cables that came with the headphones are new. Not "as new", they are new-in-the-box new. The cables are unused as I have always used my own cable with the headphones (not included).

I'm selling because my collection has grown so I have to let go of some items.
