Selling DAC (DAC) HD-7A from Japanese company Phasemation (Phase Tech).

The DAC is built on two Burr Brown PCM 1794 chips. The DAC has a K2 processor developed by JVC to prevent jitter. For example, the same technology is used in the Reimyo DAP-999EX DAC. Analog filters and output buffers are based on transistors, not integrated circuits. The USB input is handled by the XMOS processor.

The DAC has a perfectly balanced sound. A high level of detail goes along with musicality. All the nuances in the recording are drawn clearly, but at the same time without unnecessary accents and without a hint of sharpness. Natural mids, transparent highs, tight and fast bass make the DAC genre universal. When the K2 processor is activated, the high frequencies become more detailed and clear, the middle becomes more transparent, the sound becomes more focused. Connecting a good external clock will enhance and improve the sound.
