By using Current Mode Amplification the Questyle CMS Fifteen is capable of generating a lot of power and current (2W at 32Ω), enough to satisfy power requirements of the most difficult headphones. The DAC is an ESS ES9038Pro Current Mode DAC. Sound character is beautifully neutral and detailed with stellar layering and microdynamics, and very thight lows. This amp matches well with both dynamic and planar headphones (Abyss AB1266 Phi TC anyone?) Meze. T+A. It's not without reason that Questyle is known for their Current Mode Amplification.
