This is a passive inline fitler (1/4" female to 1/4" male) I used briefly when I owned the Ananda from Frans (solderdude) at DIYAudioHeaven. This was made to reduce the 8kHz peak in the Ananda (also in the HE1000 and Arya), and uses a locking Neutrik connector on the female end.
The whole package was 50 Euro new shipped from Europe. It's an interesting little filter, and for those who really don't want to bother with EQ (like me) it's a really effective solution to fix some of the Ananda's timbral oddities.
