Correct, I bought it from a listing here, got the HE1000SE, then sold the HE1000SE shortly after since it was too bright. Been sitting in a closet since

I really thought that was probably how it was. Bass was bloated and the heavy warmth was burying the treble a bit. In just over 24 hours the difference was pretty extreme. The bass was more impactful and well detailed. I ran them on HE1000v2, Sony MDR-Z1R, Focal Clear OG so far. It is still opening up. A rep at Moon suggested 100 hours for complete break in.
