The Tambaqui needs no introduction. I recently purchase this at the end of June 2021, so it's still very new. Unfortunately, due to rising costs of my son's medical expenses, I have to let this go.
On the sound note, this DAC has a very smooth delivery without sacrificing detail, timbre, tonality. It has one of the best renditions of strings and wind instruments that I've heard (thus far). You will not hear any digital harshness nor glare, much like an R2R. I know, because I used to own the Holo Audio May L2.
