This is a really cool energizer and great value for dollar performance. The 007tA is a nice unit to begin with but Mjölnir-Audio's modifications have taken this one to the next level. I've run 007, 009, 009s, CRBN, Voce, Shangri-la JR, and ES-1a off it and they all sounded great. This unit is set up to 117v so it works flawlessly with US power.
Background info from Birgir the builder:
It is one of the most recent 100V only units so I’ve replaced the power transformer with a very oversized unit. Further mods to this unit are the tubes being changed to 6S4A’s and they are being run by a CCS. This makes this amp very much a mini KGST.
I just put a new quad of tubes in matched by Birgir to within 1%.
