Everyone nowadays knows about NOS DACs vs delta-sigma/sigma-delta/other greek configs I've lost track of...

This is an old but classic (see the review below) tube DAC with the well-regarded 16 bit/44.1KHz NOS Phillips TDA1545A non-oversampling DAC chip which has no digital filters and uses the award winning National Semiconductor LM4562 operational amplifier for active I/V conversion, plus it features a vacuum tube buffered output stage (a single NOS GE5670).

I put it down as in "good" condition which I believe it is, although I am not the first owner and the bottom looks like new feet were stuck to it originally. But the topside is good and there are only some very faint hairline plastic scratches on the top which you only see in the right light. I paid a bit over $400 when I bought it a few years ago. Also, I don't know how old the tube is. I only turned it on when using it and it has only seen light use, maybe three times a month for 30-60 minutes over the last few years because I prefer speakers.

Sound-wise, I just compared it to a Denafrips Ares II and although the noise floor was a touch higher, it is a satisfying listen and really close enough as you know DACs can be. Plus you can tube roll this classic! This is a very enjoyable DAC and again, well regarded electronics overall:
