I have a Manley Labs Neo Classic 300b preamplifier and headphone amplifier for sale. It is in excellent cosmetic condition. It is functioning 100 % sonically as well. There are about 150-200 hours on the Genelex 300b tubes, but unknown on the drivers, rectifiers and rectifiers, so these may need freshening up. Sounds stellar as is. It comes with functioning remote, instructions, and original AC cord in orginal shipping box. Included are Genelex U77GZ34 Rectifiers, Raytheon OD3A Regulators, and Sylvania 6SL7WGT Drivers.
Genelex Gold Lion 300b $4000 Buyer pays shipping and fees only USA sale
Thank you for viewing my ad.
I can ship on Fridays.

Hey @normie610 have you tried driving the TC out of your Neo, I wonder how it'd compare?

Good question, let me check whether I have the XLR to 6.3mm adapter.

Edit: so I’ve listened to TC out of the Manley, with 300-400 ohm setting (the 30-400 setting is less dynamic), and it sounds quite good actually. However, TC becomes warmer, slower with less treble sparkle (smoother with a bit of roll-off) but still very good and airy extension. Bass is also slower with less impact but still with similar quantity. I don’t think it will be up your alley though, since you prefer a more exciting presentation.

Would you say outside of preference, it's a generally acceptable reserve? Or in other words, while it provides drive, it does not ideally or optimally perform.
