One of the most highly rated Music Players - This is a Brand New DAP Which Has Only 3 Charge Cycles on it. I bought this while also considering the Shanling M8. The only reason I'm selling it, is while it's very portable and pocketable, I've got another DAP (M3X) which suits my "out and about" pursuits. The M8 is truly a brick which I'll pretty much only use at home (which is a lot more these days). If you read the discussion below you'll read a little more about the contrast with the M8 from my perspective. This Lotoo PAW 6000 is a fantastic player loaded with detail, excellent bass and treble extension. Neutral yet lively (no colouration) with fast detailed bass and plenty of resolution & treble clarity. If I didnt have the M3X - this would be the one I keep. This DAP provides an absolutely black background and has outstanding battery life. I'll ship anywhere but for those of you in Canada, I paid the shipping and tax into Canada - so for my 3 charge cyles you get a pristine Lotoo, nice discount and no tax!

One of the best players under $2k , AKM chip implementation is fantastic , sound awesome . Battery life is impressive at about 15h balanced, low gain + normal use . UI Works really fast and power up is just a couple of seconds.

I don't actually have the M8 yet, but a buddy lent me his, against which I compared the LP6K. The M8 has more weight in in the bass and subbass notes. The LP6K has more energy. Shanling's house sound shines through on the M8 I'd describe it as faithful but leaning to the warmer side. The 6K is more reference but not clinical. It has a touch of warmth but is more "fun" and with greater energy without ever being over the top. I've got the Shanling M3X and while it's positioned as an entry level DAP, Shanling has pulled some amazing wizardry with it and I find it very similar to the 6K in its tuning, albeit the 6K has a blacker background and a bit more weight or depth to the bottom end notes without becoming overly "warm" if that makes sense. The Lotoo is more refined and it should be for 4X the retail price. I like the 6K, it's portable, powerful, sounds great and has great battery life. But my M3X gives me most of that with svelt pocketability when I'm out and about. I'f I didnt have the M3X, i'd keep the LP6K and forego the M8 as it's the perfect balance between the two, it sounds great and is portable. But I'm going with the M8 as my 2nd player to add more depth when I'm chilling at home with more demanding IEMs. Hope tthat helps.
