Selling a great pair of rare JVC DX1000's at a heavy/steep discount for a few noted things.

Please keep in mind - the headphones sound excellent - they do not have sound issues but a few things to note on this pair as far as the build.

1) The arm on left side snapped and I fixed it with an epoxy resin. My number one priority was the strength of the hold and getting the best possible hardest adhesive available which is epoxy - grey is the resin and is rock solid.

2) The cord has a kink in it, as shown on final picture.

3) From what I understand, the previous owner replaced the ear pads with some replacement pads. It has a kind of mesh in the interior which I do not think the original pads have.

4) Lastly, there is some kind of screw noise inside the right cup, if you bob your head around, you can hear the screw inside the cup. Makes no noise if you are just listening, only when you bob your head around.

5) Some general wear on exterior.

These things have awesome fun bass, a great warm midrange and large soundstage. They are also very sensitive and easy to drive. You will also look like a dork while wearing them as they are absolutely massive headphones with huge pads.
