Hello everyone, a left earbud for the IER Z1R that I recently bought seems to have a damaged jack. The right side looks good as pictured below. But the left side of the picture shows the damaged left earbud. If someone knows how to fix this, that would be great too. Or if you have a left earbud to sell, please let me know. Thanks.

Thanks for your reply. I bought it used with the hope that it would be fixable. So far, it is not looking too good. The cable connector doesn't seem to be attached. It looks like the left side ear bud connector has been damaged because the middle piece is smaller than the right.

I can't find the information at the moment, but if you call Sony customer service, they should be able to direct you to an authorized repair company. It'll probably cost you, but hopefully not too much.

I had the same issue with my IER M9 and that's what Sony told me to do. Though I actually ended up getting it resolved through Crutchfield.

Get ahold of United Radio. They are the authorized repair station for Sony. They repaired a WM1A for me.
