Selling b/c I just don't have time to play with and mod these anymore, I went through about 10 different iterations over the last 3 or so years. Note that none of the mods previously performed caused any irreversible changes or damages to the headphone.
Extra parts:
- MrSpeakers / DCA EFO1.1 leather pads - add $60. Were used for modding and I also found these the most comfortable with the headphone. The pads I have right now only have about 100 hours on them and they have been properly maintained with (gentle) leather care products so they're relatively fresh. Note that these will have to be held on via a special double sided tape (I will include some if you purchase these).
- Double Helix Cable - 6' Molecule Cable with Eidolic XLR termination (amp side) and Eidolic 3.5mm single channel termination (headphone side) - add $220. Cable only sold with headphone, not selling separately.
- Wood cups - experimented with these for modding. NOT fastened - you have to use something like putty or blu-tac to hold these in (this was a deliberate decision for the modding processing). IMO they need to be opened up more on the inside with the shape of the exit changed to sound more natural. add $50 (I paid about $160 to have these made).
Pictures show the headphone with my current mods and the EFO1.1 pads, BUT as mentioned, these will ship stock. Stock pads are unused.
